The team was
able to take top female angler this weekend in the
Catchin' for Kids striper tournament in Virginia Beach,
VA. The trophy winning fish weighed 51.22lbs and was
caught by Nikki. The other team members who joined us
for this tournament to benefit Toy's for Tot's were
Nikki, Capt Mary, (youth members)Chelsea, and Drew. We
killed 3 fish the first day with Drew holding the top
fish at 29 lbs and the second day (night) we killed 5
and released 6. All the released fish were well over 30
lbs and Chelsea, Nikki, and Mary were able to walk away
with citations.
We had a
blast and our only complaint is lack of sleep and tired
muscles. We fished aboard the Blind Date with Capt Stan
and Capt Chip. These two captains are two of the most
professional charter captains that I have yet to
experience in Virginia. They showed me one of those
adventures this weekend that keep the memories alive.
If you ever need a boat in VA, I recommend you go with
